Thorough:
The home inspection documents visual condition observations of hundreds of items including: Structural systems (roof, building frame, foundation, basement, crawl basements, exterior and interior walls); Waterfront structures (bulkheads, piers, docks); Building covering systems and penetrations (roof covering, building siding, windows, doors, flashing and sealing systems); Property (site facilities, drainage, property safety, parking); Electrical system; Plumbing system; Mechanical systems (heating, ventilation, air conditioning); plus special features such as EIFS, or client requirements such as Radon testing, or other engineering inspection or testing needs. Photo documentation is typically provided to help illustrate observations. Inspection report findings are summarized specifically for the observations made at this inspection. Inspections exceed New Jersey requirements and are performed to the standards of the National Academy of Building Inspection Engineers: www.nabie.org.
Depending on the nature of any problems identified, suggestions are often included in the report to provide direction for solving problems. The report is completed and presented. An oral presentation or follow up phone conversations are part of the Schkeeper Inc. service to assure complete communication meeting the client's needs.
